Taylor and Edward’s wedding is one of my all-time favorites.

They won an Instagram competition I ran for half off a wedding package, and it was totally meant to be. These two love the Lord and others, and it showed through in every interaction I had with them.

The wedding day itself was stormy, but nothing could steal their joy! They ran around in the rain for portraits, and the sunset that came after the storm lit up the entire reception. There were all kinds of personal touches throughout the event, such as the Amos brand wine and Famous Amos cookies they served, to honor their new shared last name. The reception was also decorated with palms as a nod to their Florida upbringing!

As they moved into the reception, the party took off! Their DJ was one of the best I’ve ever seen. She got the dance floor packed in a snap with her song choices! The groom even got lifted up onto the shoulders of the groomsmen before the night was over.

Overall, it was one of my most treasured weeks of my life. I connected with Taylor so much; us both being photographers who love the beach and Jesus, and all. My husband and I turned the work trip into a vacay, and explored Daytona Beach and St. Augustine on the way home.

It was a trip to remember, and I’m honored to have been a part of it all!
