Okayyyyy you guys. These engagements are the cutest I’ve done in a while!! Get ready.
Katie + Nick wanted to do their photos by Katie’s grandmother’s creek, but due to tornado damage, we weren’t able to make that happen. Luckily, my parents live on a beautiful property in the woods, so we were able to keep a woodsy setting & creek in their photos. We even took some shots in their pasture to add some variety to their gallery, and I am totally obsessed with the results. Just look at those little cutie wildflowers!!
After frolicking around the field for a while, we took the buggy out to the woods, and hiked down to a little waterfall. The *DRAMA* in those shots kills me. So moody. So romantic.
After that, we took a few shots on the path and decided to explore the woods even further. We ended up taking the buggy all the way to the end of their property line (on a bumpy asf road), and we found a big open area with insanely beautiful light AND made it all the way to the creek for the last bit of the session (how perfect was that)!
We all had a great time. My husband, Tyler, filmed the session as well and the four of us honestly had a blast all the way up until Katie’s knee popped out of place during the very last pose in the gallery hahaha — but we made it! I can’t wait to see how Tyler’s video turns out, but for now, here are my faves in picture format. Comment yours too if you feel like it!
