Dani + Jake’s bridal session was some of the most fun I’ve had in a while. We hiked Catherine’s Pass trail, which gave us a wide selection of diverse locations, and we had the perfect weather for it!

When we got to the peak of the trail, it overlooked a beautiful hidden lake that people go to for camping. We stopped to enjoy the views and have a snack before D+J changed into their wedding clothes in the woods. (Do what you gotta do!)

We then hiked back down, stopping at every pretty spot we could find to take some shots. The horizon was extremely hazy in Utah from the west coast fires, but it ended up adding a super cool effect to the sunset! 

If there’s one thing I have learned from this job, it’s that things will never turn out exactly as you pictured — but it’s usually better than what you pictured, if you have an open mind and a positive attitude.

I can’t wait for my next adventure in Utah!
