Elegant Wedding in Bowling Green, Kentucky

Kenzie + Brandon’s wedding day was a total dream!

It took place at The Charleston in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Kenzie’s blush-toned dress is from Rebecca’s Wedding Boutique, and credit for her timeless florals goes to For Myself florist in Leitchfield! The environment from minute one at this wedding was a lively one, full of upbeat attitudes and excitement! Before the ceremony, the girls popped a bottle of champagne, and the guys threw back a shot together. Brandon and Kenzie then read letters they wrote to each other before getting ready for their first look (warning: it’s a tear-jerker!)

Now, if you know Kenzie and Brandon, you know their two fur babies are like children to them! It was vital they be a part of the big day! Little Knox wore a doggie tuxedo, and sweet Tilly wore a floral collar. During the ceremony, they were walked down the aisle alongside the maid of honor and best man.

People say a first look can take away from the impact of waiting until the ceremony to see each other. Brandon proved those people wrong! His emotions overflowed all over again as his bride walked through the door and down the aisle. Kenzie’s tears followed shortly after, during her own vows.

The speeches/dances at the reception were equally as full of love… and some sick moves.
Kenzie’s dance with her dad started out slow, until a record scratch kicked in, and “Body” by Megan The Stallion came on, grabbing everyone’s attention. Kenzie and her dad then busted out a choreographed dance to the song. The party kept going with a steamy garter toss, during which, Brandon gave Kenzie a lap dance. Oh, and we can’t forget the most hilariously aggressive cake smash moment I’ve ever captured.

We took their sunset bridals at a rooftop parking garage close by, which provided a simple backdrop to highlight the couple. There’s nothing quite like golden hour! We then headed outside for a staged sparkler exit with their loved ones, and stuck around outside for a few extra nighttime bridals.

The reception had many highlights, but their personalized neon sign, a stylish champagne wall for the guests to enjoy, and a signature drink named after their sweet Tilly stuck out to me the most.

You can see for yourself in the remainder of the gallery: the rest of the reception was definitely a night to remember!
